Why isotonic gels?

During endurance activities, maintaining stable energy levels and hydration is essential. The 4GOLD isotonic gel is specifically formulated to provide fast and efficient energy replenishment without the need to drink water, making it convenient for use under intense physical stress.

Isotonic gels deliver 30 g of carbohydrates per serving in an optimal 2:1 glucose-to-fructose ratio for sustained energy release. Added electrolytes help replenish lost minerals and maintain proper hydration.

When and how to use?

Isotonic gels can be used to quickly replenish energy stores or in situations where consuming solid food (e.g., energy bars or cake) is difficult.

Training or race:

• Exercise < 1 hour: no isotonic gel needed
• Exercise up to 2 hours: 1 isotonic gel (based on a carbohydrate intake of 30 g per hour)
• Exercise > 2 hours: 1–2 isotonic gels per hour (based on a carbohydrate intake of 60–90 g per hour)
